London Bridges Burning Down

A native of London and founder of Reconnecting Ministries, Grant Berry is available for interviews and commentary about what authorities expect could become one of the most volatile and emotionally charged weekends of demonstrations Great Britain has seen in years.

With massive crowds anticipated in London and other major cities, the protests are expected to revolve around an explosive convergence of issues: Islamic extremism, immigration, antisemitism, anti-Israel activism, national identity, and growing fears that Europe is rapidly losing control of its cultural future. British authorities are preparing a major police presence amid warnings that tensions between competing protest movements could spiral into violence. Reports indicate officials are particularly concerned about extremist rhetoric, antisemitic incidents, and clashes surrounding demonstrations connected to Israel and Gaza.

Berry offers a uniquely personal and deeply relevant perspective. Having grown up in London, he has spent years warning that Europe’s abandonment of its Judeo-Christian foundations would eventually produce precisely the kind of unrest and fragmentation now unfolding publicly across Britain and the continent. As a Messianic Jewish leader who has long called for reconciliation between Christians and Jews, Berry has also been outspoken in condemning antisemitism wherever it emerges — whether from Islamist extremism, radical political movements, or cultural institutions unwilling to confront hatred honestly.

The protests come amid an alarming rise in antisemitic incidents across the UK and Europe more broadly. Jewish communities throughout Britain have reported increasing intimidation, harassment, and violence following the eruption of the Israel-Hamas war, with anti-Israel demonstrations often becoming flashpoints for openly anti-Jewish rhetoric.
