At the World Economic Forum in Davos this week, President Trump unveiled a new international initiative he calls the “Board of Peace,” an effort ostensibly aimed at cementing a durable ceasefire in Gaza but with ambitions that may reach far beyond the Middle East. Trump presided over a charter signing with select global leaders, framing the board as a body that will help stabilize and rebuild Gaza after years of devastating conflict.

Pastor Mark Biltz, of El Shaddai Ministries can be found at the nexus of geopolitical dynamics and Biblical Prophecy.

For observers focused on geopolitics and prophecy, this initiative raises questions that extend beyond formal diplomacy. Whenever global peace structures or “peace treaties” enter public discourse — especially on a stage as globalist as Davos — Biblical scholars point to the prophetic significance of such movements. In Scripture, peace agreements often preceded pivotal moments in end-times prophecy — not always in the ways the world expects. While Pastor Mark Biltz is clear that this Board of Peace is not the prophesied seven-year covenant of Daniel 9, the dynamics involved are deeply relevant to understanding how peace rhetoric interacts with prophetic narratives.

Trump’s Board of Peace, as announced, aims first to secure and expand the fragile ceasefire achieved in Gaza, but its charter and structure suggest broader ambitions, potentially positioning a U.S.-led body to shape conflict resolution and reconstruction beyond the region. Some traditional allies declined to sign on in Davos, signaling skepticism about the initiative’s scope and legitimacy.

From a prophetic perspective, Biltz can speak to how peace initiatives have historically been interpreted within a biblical framework, particularly when they involve multiple nations, broad mandates, and global summits. The Bible’s last book — Revelation — references a period of deceptive peace and security before judgment (Revelation 6:2). Understanding how modern peace proposals align or diverge from that pattern can help audiences discern between man-made diplomatic efforts and the sovereign biblical timeline.

Importantly, Biltz’s message doesn’t recast every peace effort as apocalyptic; rather, he offers a nuanced lens — how global peace discussions reflect deeper spiritual and prophetic themes without claiming prophetic fulfillment. His insight is uniquely qualified to ground the Trump-led Board of Peace in a context that respects both geopolitical realities and Biblical prophecy.

This story is not just political — it’s a conversation about peace, power, and prophetic perspective that resonates with believers and watchers of global affairs alike.

Mark Biltz, founder and pastor of El Shaddai Ministries, is uniquely positioned to unpack what comes next.
